“Autoceste Card” (ACC) is an electronic toll collection that enables the user of the motorway to quickly and efficiently pay tolls without the cashier and waiting at toll booths.
It is necessary that the user with the vehicle equipped with electronic toll collection system (ACC TAG) passes through the entry/exit toll collection lane without stopping at adjusted speed.
The transaction between the ACC TAG and the toll collection system is automatic – it is done by using the ACC TAG installed on the inside of the front windscreen in the vehicle and the antenna on the canopy above the entry/exit lanes.
At the front and side toll stations there is at least one separate toll collection passage for ACC electronic toll collection. The ACC TAG device can be used by users of all vehicle groups (I, II, III and IV).
Advantages of electronic toll collection system:
- Faster and safer passage
- Passing without stopping
- Reduction of jams at toll booths
- A bonus of 20% for each top-up of funds on the ACC TAG
The new billing system – billing is designed so that each user has a single account with funds for using the motorway. The system offers the possibility of distributing the funds so that each ACC TAG device equally uses the funds form the common account, so called group distribution, or leaves the user the possibility to allocate certain funds to individual members, i.e. to limit the amount of funds that a certain ACC TAG can spend from a common account, so called individual distribution.
The ACC TAG device can only be used by a contracted user for the vehicle for which it is intended. The ACC credit can only be paid in BAM.
